The textstrokecolor option give you the option to add a simple 3d effect on the datalabel text. This feature of more eye candy than functionality. Personally not a commonly used feature but for a creative designer this can be something fun. The textstrokecolor needs to be activated together with the textstrokewidth command. As that will nullify the effect if the width is set by “0” which is the default setting.
